John Morris’ hymn book

I looked at the inscription. It is written in ink, presumably with a quill pen. The year would have been 1874. It says:

John Morris, age 13

John Morris is my name, England is my nation,

London is my dwelling place and Christ is my salvation.

When I am dead and in my grave and all my bones are rotten,

When this you see remember, I shall not be forgotten.
