Founders’ Day at Stogs 3

These are some more photos of the old building as it is today.

The top floor was used for science subjects. This room is still known as the lecture room. It used to have college-style tiered seating. Behind the seating was a small dark room and enough space for daring pupils to hide and smoke a fag.

This is the passage that runs all along the top floor.

Some of the top-floor rooms were still being used as labs until recently.

This is is the staircase in the Annex that led up the woodwork and metalwork shops and then the gym. The top floor is still used as a gym.

This is the balcony where we used to change for PE. I always seemed to be the last to get dressed and then arrive late for the next lesson.
